Background and training
Ivan has been passionately working in Christian ministry for over 15 years. During this time Ivan has worked as a full-time Pastor, a mentor to youth and students, and is now leading an outreach ministry in Southern Africa. Ivan has extensive experience in building teams and pioneering movements and networks. Ivan is experienced in coaching individuals from various walks of life and cultures.
Ivan currently serves as the South Africa Director for World Outreach International (a Non-Profit Missions organisation).

As a Christian Coaching organisation, True-Potential believes that God is constantly revealing Himself to people. The high demand on our attention and focus distorsts our ability to hear the voice of God. Coaching assists people to discern God's voice by revealing new perspective that highlights what the Holy Spirit is speaking to us.

Descerning direction in life can be challenging, coaching assists to calm emotion and subjective perspective which give greater focus to the role and importance of the Holy Spirit. This is a central difference between non Christian and Christian coaching. Christian coaching seeks to involve the Holy Spirit in the coaching process.
